Hello! My name is Matthew Wood, and I am a first year Commerce student at the UBC Sauder School of Business. This summer, I will be running a local Scholars Edge Painting business in your neighbourhood. We are a student-operated painting company that provides an opportunity for university students like myself to attain real world experience invaluable for our future, all while providing you with high quality painting and unmatched customer service. I have a diverse background in a number of sports ranging from soccer to ultimate Frisbee, and graduated as one of the top students in my class. Given I grew up in the area and went to school at Sutherland Secondary, I look forward to making all the houses in my neighbourhood look even prettier with some top quality paint. I value building meaningful relationships through clear communication,and I feel Scholars Edge is the company that best reflects this belief. With Scholars Edge, I have a head-start working towards my future academic and business dreams, such as starting up a company of my own one day!
