Hello, my name is Mary Harris. I grew up on a farm in Lethbridge County, Alberta. For the past three years I have been living in Victoria BC while attending the University of Victoria. It is my third year in the Bachelor of Commerce program. I plan to earn my Chartered Professional Accounting designation and I aim to run my own business. I enjoy being outdoors, including hiking trails on the island. My experience as a student painter provided me with the technical skills to pass along in training my painting crews. Last summer I worked as an operator/ business owner for Scholars Edge Painting, and I look forward to another successful summer operating my own painting business in Victoria. I am anticipating the challenges and opportunities the experience of continuing to run my business will guarantee to provide. I am excited to create a great customer and employee experience while producing quality work on all projects.
