Hello! My name is Karver Smith. I am from the Shuswap area. This summer I will be running my Scholars Edge Painting business in Salmon Arm and the surrounding communities. It is my hope that my studies in management at the University of British Columbia will have prepared me for this opportunity. My goal is to obtain real-world experience managing a company which will help me pursue other ventures in the future. I have created and run a charity auction in the past. Running the charity auction as a partnership taught me a lot about communication and teamwork skills. I enjoy planning events and creating opportunities for my fellow students. Additionally, I have created multiple tournaments and clubs to share my hobbies with others. While running my business, I will ensure we have strong communication with customers and employees. My crew and I will strive to provide a high-quality service to everyone we serve.
