Hello! My name is Adam Battistel, and I am a first-year student majoring in Political Science at the University of Victoria. I am from Langley, and I will be running a Scholars Edge Painting business in your area. I decided to run a Scholars Edge Painting business because I love the idea of being my own boss and the experience/skills I will gain from running a business will be invaluable to me in the future. As a former rower and BC Games medalist, I enjoy challenging myself and I plan on approaching my work with the same discipline I used to become a successful athlete. As an employer I will treat my employees fairly and with respect, my goal is to create an enjoyable and rewarding work environment. As a service provider my goal is to impress every customer with our quality of work, affordability, and efficiency. With Scholars Edge, I am getting the opportunity to run my own business which is something I didn’t think would be possible until after I finished my degree. Scholars Edge is giving me an edge over everyone my age with experience and skills in business in the real world.
