Hello, my name is Cristiano Almeida and I am in my second-year of a Bachelor of Commerce in the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba. This summer, I will be working with Scholars Edge to provide quality painting services to the residents of South Winnipeg. Scholars Edge is a student-run painting company that helps university students gain business skills while offering top-notch painting and customer service. The reason I went into business school was my goal was to own and operate my own business one day and now that I have this opportunity I will take full advantage of this chance to run an efficient and yet quality painting business. I am also a very hard worker, since I graduated high school I have been working multiple jobs and working 40-50 hours a week while being in full time university. I grew up in the south of Winnipeg, and I am looking forward to stepping out into my community to provide a great customer experience.
